Lexie Kilpatrick

Hello and thanks for coming to my personal website! Before you visit the other aspects of this site, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lexie Kilpatrick and I am a upcoming senior at Temple University. I major in Political Science with a minor in Digital Media Engagement - my perfect combination. I strive to be as socially conscious and politically engaged as I can, something I believe all Americans should aspire to be.

I currently reside in Philadelphia and take advantage of everything this beautiful city has to offer. It was right here in Philly where I realized the over-emphasis on federal government and polices in the media, when in fact citizens’ state and local governments affect their day-to-day lives more dynamically. This past semester, I interned for both State Representative Brian Sims and Philadelphia Councilman At-Large Derek S. Green, and my interest for the roles and how the different levels of government intertwine significantly increased. Both officials were people I proudly stood behind; as our values meshed perfectly together. I find great strength and passion in being able to be behind something that positively affects the voiceless, and I plan to always do so.
